During the Provincial Alliance Building of the Department of Interior and Local Government held at Victor Hall, Virac Town Center, Virac, Catanduanes, last November 8, 2017, Governor Joseph Cua expressed his commitment to help push through the different programs of municipal programs identified during the said event.
“Padagos kitang maghinguha na makatao nin marinas na serbisyo para sa mga tugang niato sa munisipyo asin sa bilog na probinsya”, said Governor Cua.
“Our province is in constant progress, and our work must always be pointed towards progress”, Cua added.
Following their Provincial Strategic Direction Setting held in Amenia Beach resort in San Andres last September, the Provincial Alliance Building is the first in the region.
During the PSDS, participating planning and budget officers of different municipalities were tasked to identify priority projects for their local government.
“Pig-identify kung alin duman ang Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) na pwedeng pundohan ning munisipyo, ning probinsya, ning NEDA (National Economic Development Authority”, said Provincial DILG Director, Uldarico Razal.
Razal added that they also identify if the projects align with the National Development Plan (NDP), Sustainable Development Goals (SDS) , Sendai Framework, National Security Policy and Provincial Physical Development and Framework Plan (PPDFP).
The output in the PSDS was made as the input in the Alliance Building. The projects were finalized to see what projects will be included in the 5-year provincial development plan.
“Ang purpose ning alliance building to instill awareness na su mga programa dapat naka-allign sya and then may proper coordination and cooperation with provincial and municipal government”, Razal added.
The result of the Provincial Alliance Building will be consolidated and presented to Development Council for adoption and approval.
