Department, division and unit heads convene during the Provincial Management Committee Meeting held on August 13 and 14, 2019 at the 3F Conference Room, Provincial Capitol Building.

Provincial heads of the different departments and offices of the Provincial Government of Catanduanes presented their accomplishments for the 1st half of the year 2019 during the Physical and Financial Performance Review on August 13-14, 2019.

Led by Acting Gov. Shirley A. Abundo, the Management Committee (ManCom) meeting aims to review targets reached in programs, activities and projects for the 1st Semester.

Present during the meeting were: Provincial Administrator Ireneo Panti, Atty. Evelyn Lucero-Gutierrez (Legal Office); Dr. Vietriz Abella (Eastern Bicol Medical Center); Dr. Franchette Amabella-Panti (Health office); Ms. Elisa Nilda Alberto, Ms. Leny Sarmiento and Engr. Eloisa Tabirara (Planning and Development Office);

Ms Marites Curativo (Nutrition Office); Ms. Nelia Teves (Office of the Provincial Agriculturist); Ms. Sonia Villaluna (Accounting Office); Ms. Marilou Vargas (Treasurer’s Office); Ms. Nena Guerrero (Budget and Management Office); Mr. Rodrigo B. Turado (General Services Office); Dr. Jane Rubio (Veterinary Office);

Engr. Felix U. Vargas (Engineering Office); Ms. Carmel Garcia (Tourism Office);Ms. Maribel Tomagan and Ms. Krizia Elaine Aldea (Social Welfare and Development Office); Ms. Eulalia Talaran (Internal Audit Services); Mr. Robert Monterola (Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office); and Mr. Prince L. Subion (Human Resources and Management Division).

Department heads present their accomplishment for the 1st semester of the year 2019. Deliberations of issues and concerns followed the presentations.

They also presented their respective operational focuses for the second semester of the year.

Also discussed were some administrative and operational concerns like office renovations, filling up of vacation plantilla positions, hiring of job order employees, among others.

Written policies on purchase requests, issuance of memorandum receipts, and inventory of office equipment will also be drafted and approved for a more efficient system management in the provincial government of Catanduanes.
